With MTG you can process a credit or debit card transaction in just about any way imaginable. Whether it’s through a traditional dial-up terminal or an iPhone, we’ll make sure it’s the best and most economical way for you.
Dial-Up Terminals: If you normally have the credit card available to swipe and have regular analogue telephone service, there are lots of terminals to choose from. We recommend Nurit, Hypercom and Omni products which range in price from $189 to $299. All have internal thermal printers and are very easy to operate.
Internet Terminals: If you normally have a credit card available to swipe and have digital or voice over Internet phone service, we recommend the Ingenico i5100 terminal. It, too, has an internal thermal printer and is very easy to operate – all you’ll need is an Ethernet connection to your Internet service. The Ingenico i5100 sells for $299.
Virtual Terminals: If you normally don’t have a credit card available to swipe and like to use the Internet, we recommend a virtual terminal through Authorize.net or EprocessingNetwork. Both have excellent track records and nominal set-up, monthly and per transaction fees.
Telephone Terminals: If you normally don’t have a credit card available to swipe and you don’t process many transactions, we recommend that you process them over your phone. The rates are the same as those hand keyed through a terminal – the transaction fee is just slightly higher. At $29, it’s a great way for someone to get set-up to process credit or debit card transactions for the first time and not spend much money doing it.
